From Concetta S......
As for Granadma's spaghetti sauce, it's the same with meatballs or just with spaghetti.
It's as simple as this: for each can of tomato paste add (3) cans of water, for each can of tomato sauce, add 1/2 can of water.
You start first by putting a little oil in the bottom of the pan on the stove, sprinkle garlic powder and heat, not burn, add the sauce & paste & water as stated above, stir until all smooth, then add more garlic powder, salt & pepper until you like it (can't tell you how much, as I always keep tasting it until it tastes like moms).
After it comes to a little boil, then turn it down and continue to stir. Let it simmer for 1 hr. or more, depends on when you want to eat, it can cook for 1/2 hr or more, whatever you want.
If you want to add meatballs, just put them in the sauce after it's all stirred before it's boiled and let it simmer until you are ready to eat. If meat sauce, you brown the meat in the oil, add salt and pepper, then you add the sauce and paste as stated above and continue to cook.
